For the month of April, Robert Hensley & Associates proudly supported the Simsbury-Granby Rotary River Run (a USATF certified course along the Farmington River). To celebrate our 25th year in business, we were fortunate enough to compile a team of 25 runners (all sporting RH&A t-shirts) to run in support of the community.

“It was great to be involved for another year in an event that is such a staple event in our community. This was the first year we ran ‘as a team’ in uniform shirts. Team members included fellow business members and employees of the Simsbury/Avon community. Some of our teammates were running in their first road race so it made the event even more memorable to be helping support healthy goals for our fellow community members.” – Margaret Jakubowski.

We would like to thank all of the participants that endured the 5k and 10k run with us, and congratulate the top runners for their impeccable performance! We had many supporters form our group to cheer us on, Leslie Groundwater, Account manager, Bob Hensley President and his wife Sue, Katie Kehoe, Benefits Sales and Marketing, her husband Matt, and her son Luke.

The 5k had a total of 278 runners:
From the RH&A group our runners were Lisa (our Marketing and Operations Specialist), her son Jack and husband John Calcavecchia. Jill Brandon our Director of Wealth Management. Bobby Hensley, our Brokerage Manager and Partner, Lindsay Hensley, Bobby’s wife. Joe Shiman III, our Vice President and his daughter Madeline as wells as Ryan Jakubowski, Margi’s husband. Terrific job everyone!

The 10k had a total of 226 runners:
From the RH&A group in the 10k our runner was Vice President Margi Jakubowski. Well done Margi!
